Koo Ja-wook, the No. 1 player in 'monthly batting average and home run', is in front of Shell Hillics Player in September

Samsung Lions outfielder Koo Ja-wook (31) approached the Shell Hills player in September. 

The Shell Healics Player will be awarded to pitchers and hitters who rank No. 1 in contribution to victory (War) compared to monthly replacement players. When Samsung was on the verge of losing four games consecutively, it also had two RBIs and led the team to an 8-6 victory against the Suwon KT Wiz on Sunday. When Samsung secured the second place in the regular season by winning 9-8, it had two hits (two homers) and three RBIs from four times at bat against the Kiwoom Heroes in Daegu on Sunday. Koo had a batting average of 0.344, 33 homers and 115 RBIs. His home runs and RBIs have achieved career highs, and his batting average is poised to surpass that of 0.349 recorded in 2015.

The second batter is Hong Chang-ki of the LG Twins with a WAR of 1.41. He showed good batting performance by posting a batting average of 0.560 in six games last week. 

Lim Chan-kyu (32) is ranked first in the batting average of 0.98 in all three games he played. He has achieved quality starts (QS, more than six innings and less than three earned runs). Lim Chan-kyu became the winning pitcher by leading LG to a 5-0 victory against the SSG Landers in Jamsil on the 4th. In the match against the Lotte Giants in Busan on the 18th, when LG lost two consecutive games, he gave up only one run in 6 2/3 innings, setting the stage for a 5-3 victory.
